We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Technologist to join Norgine in France.

18 months Fixed Term Contract.

The person holding this position will report to the Associate Technical Director and be a member of the Technical Operations team.

The core responsibility of the Product Technologist is to provide Technical Support for new and existing products across Norgine sites, Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMO) and partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Technical support for investigations linked to Quality Events, Customer Complaints, IMC actions, Change Controls and CAPAs.
• Support the introduction of raw materials, new products, new processes, line extensions, technical transfers and CI initiatives.
• Assist with multiple projects across internal manufacturing sites and with external partners (CDMOs/CROs), as required.
• Support the execution of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities for the assigned product portfolio of commercial products.
• Assist with technical support for assigned products and processes.
• Support of Change Controls with a potential impact on product quality within their assigned portfolio.
• Assist with maintaining technical compliance for all designated products in accordance with GxP and company policies and procedures.

RELATIONSHIPS:

• Work cross functionally as a project lead or team member on approved projects with representatives from global and local departments, CMOs and partners.
• Formal reporting of project status to Management and Project Sponsors.

Requirements

• Technical qualification / scientific degree or relevant experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience working within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Ability to work in a regulated environment (GxP).
• Inquisitive mindset with the drive to make improvements.
• Fluent French and good level of English is required to comfortably perform in the role.
• Demonstrated experience in the participation of root cause analysis investigations.
• Ability to support cross functional projects to deliver against key project milestones and deadlines.
• Working knowledge of ICH Q8, Q9, Q10 and Q12 guidelines and Medical Device Regulations (MDR).
• Knowledge of development/and or manufacturing/process of multiple pharmaceutical dosage forms.
