Qualifications

Role: QA Engineer at PayXpert

You will ensure the quality and security of our payment solutions through manual testing. Responsibilities include designing and executing test cases, identifying and tracking bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate new features and prevent regressions.

  • Plan, design, and write automated tests for new and existing features across different components of the payment solution.
  • Act as the voice of the users, helping improve product and engineering team experiences.
  • Plan, prioritize, and supervise test phases on multiple projects.
  • Create detailed and structured test plans and documentation.
  • Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities to ensure quality.
  • Validate software versions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
  • Experience in manual testing, preferably in fintech, banking, or payment processing environments.
  • Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with test automation tools.
  • Experience testing APIs, databases, web/mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification (required); advanced certifications are a plus.
