Job Description:

As a QA Engineer at PayXpert, you will ensure the quality and security of our payment solutions through manual testing. Your responsibilities include designing and executing test cases, identifying and tracking bugs, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to validate new features and prevent regressions.

  • Plan, design, and write automated tests for new and key existing features across different components of the payment solution.
  • Be the voice of the users, helping the product and engineering teams to improve their experience constantly.
  • Plan, prioritize, and supervise test phases on several projects in parallel.
  • Create detailed, exhaustive, and structured test plans and files.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to ensure quality of internal software solutions.
  • Validate software versions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
  • Experience in manual testing, preferably in fintech, banking, or payment processing environments.
  • Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with test automation tools.
  • Experience testing APIs, databases, and web/mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification (required); Advanced Level or other certifications are a plus.
