Job Description:

To drive this evolution, we have developed a wide range of payment processing services focusing on revenue optimisation, BI, anti-fraud, and alternative payments such as Alipay+ and WeChat Pay, alongside accessibility solutions for the visually impaired. We are a collaborative and detail-oriented QA team, focused on delivering high-quality software in the ever-evolving payment solutions domain. Working fully remote, we combine flexibility with strong communication to ensure consistency across projects and teams. Our role goes beyond test execution — we contribute to test strategies, process improvements, and documentation, always with a mindset of quality and user experience. As a QA Engineer at PayXpert, you will ensure the quality and security of our payment solutions through manual testing. You'll design and execute test cases, identify and track bugs, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to validate new features and prevent regressions. Your responsibilities include:

1. Planning, designing, and writing automated tests for new and existing features across different components of the payment solution.
2. Representing the voice of the users to help improve product and engineering team experiences.
3. Planning, prioritization, and supervision of test phases on multiple projects.
4. Creating detailed, exhaustive, and structured test plans and files.
5. Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities.
6. Validating software versions.

Qualifications include:

1. Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
2. Experience in manual testing, preferably in fintech, banking, or payment processing environments.
3. Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
4. Experience with test automation tools.
5. Experience testing APIs, databases, web, and mobile applications.
6. Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
7. ISTQB Foundation Level certification (required); advanced certifications are a plus.
