Role Overview

If you enjoy digging into details, thinking critically, and helping build reliable products, you'll feel at home here. As a QA Engineer at PayXpert, you will ensure the quality and security of our payment solutions through manual testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases, identify and track bugs, collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate new features and prevent regressions.
• Plan, design, and write automated tests for new and existing features across different components of the payment solution.
• Advocate for user experience improvements, helping product and engineering teams enhance their offerings.
• Plan, prioritize, and supervise testing phases across multiple projects.
• Create detailed and structured test plans and documentation.
• Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities to ensure quality of internal software solutions.
• Validate software versions before release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• Experience in manual testing, preferably in fintech, banking, or payment processing environments.
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
• Experience testing APIs, databases, and web/mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification (required); advanced certifications are a plus.
