Job Description:

To drive this evolution, we have developed a wide range of payment processing services focusing on revenue optimisation, BI, anti-fraud, and alternative payments such as Alipay+ and WeChat Pay, alongside accessibility solutions for the visually impaired. We are a collaborative and detail-oriented QA team, focused on delivering high-quality software in the ever-evolving payment solutions domain. Working fully remote, we combine flexibility with strong communication to ensure consistency across projects and teams. Our role goes beyond test execution — we contribute to test strategies, process improvements, and documentation, always with a mindset of quality and user experience. As a QA Engineer at PayXpert, you will ensure the quality and security of our payment solutions through manual testing. You'll design and execute test cases, identify and track bugs, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to validate new features and prevent regressions.

• Plan, design and write automated tests for new and key existing features on the different components of the Payment solution
• Be the voice of the users, helping the product and engineering teams to improve their experience constantly
• Planning, prioritization and supervision of test phases on several projects in parallel
• Creation of detailed, exhaustive and structured test plans and files
• Estimation, prioritization, planning and coordination of the testing activities of the quality on internal software solutions
• Validation of software versions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT sector
• Seniority in software manual testing, preferably in fintech, banking, or payment processing environments
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g.,)
• Experience in testing APIs, databases, and web/mobile applications
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification (required); Advanced Level or other testing certifications are a plus
