Role and Responsibilities

As a QA Engineer at PayXpert, you will ensure the quality and security of our payment solutions through manual testing. Your responsibilities include:

• Designing and executing test cases, identifying and tracking bugs, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to validate new features and prevent regressions.
• Planning, designing, and writing automated tests for new and existing features across different components of the payment solution.
• Representing the voice of the user to help improve product and engineering team experiences.
• Planning, prioritizing, and supervising test phases across multiple projects.
• Creating detailed, exhaustive, and structured test plans and documentation.
• Estimating, prioritizing, and coordinating testing activities to ensure quality.
• Validating software versions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• Senior experience in manual testing, preferably in fintech, banking, or payment processing environments.
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation tools and testing APIs, databases, and web/mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification (required); Advanced Level or other certifications are a plus.
