Role Overview

If you enjoy digging into details, thinking critically, and helping build reliable products, you'll feel at home here. As a QA Engineer at PayXpert, you will ensure the quality and security of our payment solutions through manual testing. Your responsibilities include designing and executing test cases, identifying and tracking bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate new features and prevent regressions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, design, and write automated tests for new and existing features across different components of the payment solution.
2. Advocate for user experience improvements by providing feedback to product and engineering teams.
3. Plan, prioritize, and supervise testing phases across multiple projects.
4. Create detailed, structured test plans and documentation.
5. Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities to ensure quality.
6. Validate software versions before release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• Experience in manual testing, preferably in fintech, banking, or payment processing environments.
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation tools.
• Experience testing APIs, databases, web, and mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification (required); additional certifications are a plus.
