    Scope

    Within the CMA CGM Group Asset Direction, the MOATOA (MOA Transverse for Operations & Assets) team oversees the developments, supports and deployment of the ship-planning software and some associated tools for the CMA CGM Group.

    Integrated to the team in charge of the stowage solution, you are dealing with a mix of activity around Product Owner (PO) and Product Expert (PE)/Business Expert (BE)


    The various scopes of action are:

    - Projects related to Operations efficiency.
    - Software & process expertise.
    - Direct support to users, manage license validations.
    - Transversal support to other entities (Head Office Departments, CMAShips, Academy, affiliates, etc.).
    - Training support.
    - Vessel profile management.

    This job position also covers the participation to the daily tasks performed to the benefit of operational users of Stowman (Macs3).

    Responsibilities:


    You are reporting to the MOATOA manager.

    As a PO, you will pass the PO certification and then be able to act on IT Performance, stability, availability, and application added values, taking into consideration process relevance and data reliability. You will be first involved on the preparation of future CMA CGM stowage & stability software (system) to be aligned with the Group strategy (define road map, times scale, budget, design, etc.).

    As PE, you are the privileged interlocutor of the software suppliers. In these areas, you help to coordinate the actions of the teams.
    • You organize the collection of needs, auditing the user teams in coordination with the departments concerned (CMA CGM Ops, HR, CMA Ships Crewing, etc.).
    • You analyze, select, or consolidate, then specify the needs with the software suppliers.
    • You participate to the follow-up of the maintenance and the requests for changes made to the suppliers. You work in collaboration with the CMA IT and CMAShips new Building Department for testing and delivery of the releases.
    • For vessel profiles, you participate to the monitoring, supply, maintenance and invoicing in coordination with the supplier.
    • You participate to the quality control of the delivered softwares.

    As a BE, you collaborate to the processes cartography and gaps analysis to ensure the product alignment to the need’s collection, dealing with various teams (transversal and crossing matters).

    As a trainer, you participate to the training material preparation, conduct, and follow up on remote and on-site trainings to support knowledge transfer and coach staff to the Group’s best practices.

    Profile & Competencies

    Preferably, required skills are:

    • Requiring a very good knowledge about Stowman and company work processes.
    • Several years’ experience as ship-manager, Ops manager, or Port operations officer or seafarer (chief officer) on containership vessel.
    • Several years’ experience using Stowman (preferably as ship-manager).
    • Knowledge of the tools and procedures of the Group's Vessel Operations, at Headquarters, in the Agency and on board.
    • Knowledge of computer, operating systems, databases, MS tools usages.
    • Ability and good sense of relationship with the actors concerned, communicating with all types of users.
    • Strong team spirit and good ability to work cross-functionally.
    • Fluent professional English.

    Additionally, desirable skills are:

    • Experience in user support and assistance.
    • Experience of IT project life cycles and/or maintenance.
    • Knowledge of methods for training users.
    • Availability for trips.
