A pioneering space technology company is seeking a Product Owner to ensure the success of the JPT150 thruster. The role involves overseeing the product lifecycle, collaborating with engineering teams, and driving product enhancements. Candidates should possess a PhD in Plasma Physics or a similar field, with strong experience in the space sector, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to teamwork.

We are global experts in satellite propulsion, pushing the boundaries of streamlined in-orbit mobility for the rapidly expanding satellite constellation industry. Our clients across the US, Europe, and Asia trust us to design and deliver high-performance, precision-engineered propulsion systems that push technological boundaries while meeting demanding timelines and budgets. We made history in 2019 and 2020 with the world’s first in-orbit demonstrations of iodine-fueled electric propulsion systems. Today, we are experiencing rapid growth, with over 300 systems ordered to date.
As a Product Owner, you will play the important role of ensuring the technical success of the product. You will be responsible for following the product life cycle of the JPT150, the first iodine-filled Hall thruster to be used in space. You will interface with different teams, based on the maturity of the product, bringing knowledge and expertise across all technical teams. You will actively participate in the development of JPT150, driving the improvements and updates of the design, as well as accompanying it through in-orbit demonstration mission, lifetime test and industrialization process at a later stage.
As part of the Product Management team, you will interface with all aspects of the creation of the product, from early conception to production. This role requires a dynamic and multitasking individual who will drive people forward with strong expertise and a positive attitude.
