Lenstra in Paris is seeking a Data Platform Product Owner to own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of large-scale data platforms at client IT ecosystems.

You will work hands-on with engineers, data scientists, and architects to design and evolve a data platform used by 100+ consultants, building enterprise-grade foundations that balance scalability, reliability, and usability. You will extend the platform to support agentic AI tooling on top of a solid data foundation.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a Product Owner/PM for data platforms at scale.
• Strong grounding in data architectures and ability to read code.
• Proven track record translating business needs into platform roadmaps for large users.
• Proficient with JIRA/Confluence and agile practices.
• Excellent communication to align engineers, data scientists, architects and stakeholders.

About the role

As a Data Platform Product Owner, you'll own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of large-scale data platforms that sit at the core of our clients' IT ecosystems.

• You will own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of large-scale data platforms powering analytics and data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
• You will work hands-on with engineers, data scientists, and architects to design and evolve a data platform used by 100+ consultants.
• You will build enterprise-grade data foundations serving hundreds of users, balancing scalability, reliability, and usability.
• You will extend the platform to support agentic workflows and AI tooling — enabling agents to query, transform, and act on platform data. This is a growing part of the role, not the starting point: the data foundation comes first, agentic capability builds on top of it.
• You will translate business needs into clear technical priorities, making informed trade-offs grounded in a solid understanding of data architectures and code.

Technical and experience requirements

Must-have:

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager on data platforms (analytics, data infrastructure, or enterprise data foundations) at scale.
• Strong grounding in data architectures, with enough technical depth to read code and challenge engineering trade-offs directly.
• Track record of translating business needs into a platform roadmap and delivery plan for large user bases (100+ users).
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent product management tooling, and a working agile practice.
• Strong communication skills, able to align engineers, data scientists, architects, and senior stakeholders around a shared roadmap.

Nice-to-have:

• Exposure to agentic AI or LLM-based tooling, ideally applied to data platforms.
• Experience enabling data platform operations (feature stores, orchestration, model serving) for large teams.
