Job summary

Photoroom, Inc. is seeking a Product ML Engineer to join a product experience team (SMB, Scaler or Enterprise) and own the ML side of short, high-impact projects.

You will work on focused ML problems with clear product outcomes, sometimes fine-tuning models or integrating the best externally available model, but always delivering the fastest and most effective path to customer value. Youll bring the technical depth of an Applied Scientist while operating with the pace and pragmatism of a product

Qualifications

• You've shipped ML into production.
• You can fine-tune vision or diffusion models and design meaningful evaluations.
• You're a pragmatic builder who uses external models when fastest to value.
• You're product-minded and measure success by shipped features and business outcomes.
• You're comfortable in production codebases and can move between experimentation and production engineering.
• You have strong ownership and drive ML problems to production.
• You iterate quickly and learn from user feedback.
• You're curious and collaborative and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Embed directly within a product team.
• Own ML projects end to end from framing to production release.
• Decide when to fine-tune or build versus using external models.
• Move from idea to production with rapid iteration and customer impact.
• Collaborate with the ML team while staying aligned with product cadence.
• Gather rapid user feedback and drive next iterations.
