We are looking for a strategic and experienced Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and management of our Connected Solutions telematics devices on a global scale. This role will require collaboration with teams across Latin America, North America, and Europe, ensuring alignment with regional market needs while driving global product strategy.

This position is set in our facilities in Paris or Lyon and is a permanent contract. The annual salary range for this position is between 59 to 70k€.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING ?

STRATEGY

  • Define a clear & compelling vision for telematics devices (6-12m) including hardware and firmware development, and ensure this vision is aligned with our engineering teams & platform gateway vision and roadmap.

  • Prioritize strategic priorities and objectives for device launches and improvements aligned to global product strategy and region business priorities.

  • Manage & communicate the product roadmap for telematics devices based on evolving strategic priorities, customer feedback, and operational requirements.

DISCOVERY

  • Conduct research to understand market and user needs as it relates to devices, considering needs of ‘external’ personas’ (eg, drivers) and ‘internal’ personas (eg, solution installers).

  • Conduct extensive market research and analysis to identify regional customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends related to devices.

  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics on a global scale, making data-driven decisions to optimize product features and user experience.

  • Define the problem space and requirements for new devices developments, and lead process with R&D and UX / UI teams to create, test, and iterate intuitive designs for new devices.

DELIVERY

  • Define well-formed development initiatives, with clear purpose, functional requirements, and plan ready for development by the device teams (considering both hardware specification / development and firmware development)

  • Own backlog for device development ensuring initiatives are properly prioritized aligned with Program Increments (PI) planning cycles.

  • Participate in delivery ceremonies with device teams (hardware & firmware) to accept completion of new developments, share knowledge and customer feedback with the delivery team to inform future iterations.

  • Understand and contribute to go-to-market strategy for new device releases in partnership with go-to-market (G2M) teams.

GROWTH

  • Contribute to the development of common practices and standards of excellence across our Product Management team / chapter

  • Regularly & proactively provides constructive feedback to Product and non-Product peers on their work & ways of working to improve individual and team performance; provides regular feedback and coaching to PO(s), PM(s), and other colleagues outside the Product team

  • Support hiring and onboarding processes to ensure successful selection and ramp-up of new PMs and/or POs in our Product team

TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU WILL LIKELY HAVE…
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 3+ years in product management, focusing on hardware and firmware development

  • Proven track record in developing and launching successful hardware and software products, preferably in the fleet management or automotive sectors.

  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle telematics data and protocols.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in Agile delivery, design, and product management tools including Jira, Aha!, Figma, MixPanel

  • Strong ability to collaborate, communicate, present, and negotiate effectively across disciplines, vendors, partners and customers

  • Sound judgement and decision-making skills, with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and work under deadline pressure

  • Foundational understanding of UX / UI design heuristics and design processes

  • Foundational understanding of technology applications & architecture and solutioning processes

  • High quality standards for work output with excellent attention to detail

  • Native or fluent English speaker, other any languages are an asset with particular focus on French and/or Brasilian Portuguese
