Qualifications

Start your path to grow in METTLER TOLEDO

As part of our Early Career Development program MOVE, you will join the Industry division as a Project / Product Manager. Within the Transport & Logistics business unit, you will contribute to significantly improve the economic performance of each project of the team.

After approx. 2 years in this position, you will take over an exciting position for METTLER TOLEDO abroad (Europe or North America), where you will work for approximately 18 months in a different unit. On this position your main tasks will be to:

  1. Support sales in close cooperation with sales representatives, customer and service organizations:
  2. Consulting of customers together with the sales representatives in finding the optimal solutions (by telephone, online meetings, personal presence).
  3. Creation of functional specifications and, if necessary, customer specifications.
  4. Accompaniment of Sales Representatives within the scope of project clarification.
  5. Communication of final solution specifics to Market Organization Service organizations.
  6. Ensure overall coordination after sales of the project (customer, T&L Sales & Service local team, MT factory, suppliers) from the order to the final payment of the material (including the total lifting of the reserves): order form check, relation with Sales back office for the order to the MT factory, check production deadlines with the factory, transport, installation, Cash collection, reserves management, …
  7. Measure the economic performance of each project (monitoring actual vs. planned costs).
  8. As Product Manager provide sales and technical training (operation and application) to sales and service teams at launch and during the life of the products.
  9. Participate to the continuous improvement of the T&L process.
What You Need to Succeed
  1. Completed scientific, technical or business university studies.
  2. First professional experience (2-3 years) in industry ideally.
  3. Fluent French and English, knowledge of another language (German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian…) would be an advantage.
  4. Several months of international experience gained during studies or on the job - Open and outgoing personality with a focus in achieving ambitious targets and the will to develop further.
