Director of Product Management – Life Sciences

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Product Management & Marketing to lead the development and growth of a high-value product portfolio within the life sciences and analytical instrumentation space, including chromatography and mass spectrometry. This key leadership role involves team management, product lifecycle ownership, commercial alignment, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative solutions to clients in pharmaceutical, environmental, chemical, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Product Leadership: Define vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy; develop product value propositions; collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders to enhance market engagement; ensure product differentiation aligns with business goals.
  • Portfolio and Financial Management: Lead new product introductions; oversee product lifecycle; monitor revenue, margins, and ROI; align product decisions with financial strategies.
  • Team and Cross-functional Leadership: Manage Product Managers and Technical Services; partner with Sales, R&D, Operations, and Marketing; support global marketing efforts and ensure messaging consistency.
  • Market Intelligence and Business Strategy: Conduct market analysis; prioritize initiatives; define pricing strategies; maintain stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or Business; Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years in product management or marketing within life sciences or analytical instruments.
  • Leadership experience and ability to deliver results.
  • Deep understanding of chromatography and mass spectrometry markets.
  • Strong financial acumen; experience with revenue, pricing, and profitability targets.
  • Fluent in English; French proficiency is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, mainly within Europe.
