The Opportunity

The Acquiring Processing Product Manager (PdM) significantly impacts the business by ensuring that products are developed and launched successfully, meet customer/market needs, and contribute to the company's strategic goals. He/She drives innovation, enhances customer satisfaction, and ultimately helps in achieving revenue and growth targets. A successful Product Manager balances strategic thinking with practical execution, ensuring that the product not only fits the market but also evolves based on customer feedback and market trends. He/She is responsible for overseeing the business performance, development, and continuous improvement of a product or a part of the acquiring processing product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Vision and Strategy
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Product Vision: Define the long-term vision and strategy for the product.
  • Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain a product roadmap outlining development and release schedules.
  • Product Features Definition and Design
    • Gather and prioritize business requirements from stakeholders, including customers and partners.
    • Define and document product features and specifications.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
  • Product Investment Plan and Business Roadmap
    • Define investment objectives aligned with strategy.
    • Gather investment items from stakeholders.
    • Prepare and promote investment plans to governance bodies.
  • Performance Monitoring
    • Define key results and track KPIs to measure success.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Use insights for continuous product enhancement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Manage stakeholder relationships and expectations.
    • Manage timelines, resources, and dependencies.
    • Resolve conflicts during product development.

    • Experience in gathering and acting on customer feedback.
    • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align product development with business goals.
    • Experience in setting product vision and mid/long-term strategy.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal skills for articulating product vision, requirements, and updates.
    • Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
    • Project Management: Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.
    • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving.
    • Technical Proficiency: Understanding of technical aspects and familiarity with relevant tools.
    • Fluent English skills; other languages are a plus.
    • Proactive “Can do” attitude.
