In this context, Sanofi is recruiting Digital GenAI R&D Product Line Owner.

In this role, you will be a senior leader acting as the effective CEO of the Transversal GenAI R&D digital product portfolio in the Digital data organization, you will define product strategies, oversee a high-performing team to deliver cutting-edge solutions, and champion a culture of innovation.Simultaneously, you will interact with R&D Accelerator Head, R&D product line owner, ensuring best practice dissemination, fostering reusability of key features across all product pods, and align and Business R&D insuring development practices in our Data Products, and be involved in other GenAI teams in order influence the overall culture towards driving efficiency and empowering AI and ML initiatives to generate value across the Gen AI R&D process.

Research Digital Product Line Owner :

• Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for transversal GenAI R&D products
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and design to development, launch, and continuous optimization
• Ensure feature prioritization, manage resources, and ensure timely delivery using Agile methodologies
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of product and engineering professionals
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Research and Digital leadership, and external partners to ensure alignment on strategy, priorities, and resource allocation
• Communicate product performance and progress effectively
• Remain up to date on the company’s standards, industry practices and emerging technologies
• Identify, document, and disseminate best practices in Agile, product management, and related disciplines across all Research product pods
• Animate portfolio governance with senior business and digital leaders and oversee accordingly POD staffing
• Spearhead portfolio Governance with senior Business and Digital Senior Leaders
• Lead Pod staffing / budget to secure value delivery and key outputs
• Drive standardization of processes, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency, maintainability, and quality across the Accelerator teams
• Promote skill enhancement, knowledge sharing, and professional growth among practitioners within the Accelerator through training, mentorship, and community building
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement : focusing on efficiency, urbanization of features, and reusability of digital assets

About you

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field, with Product management certifications (optional)
• Extensive experience leading and managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment within product development, and preferably within R&D
• Ability to develop and articulate a clear, compelling vision for digital products and R&D transformation, aligning it with broader organizational goals
• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain top talent, with experience in coaching, mentoring, and performance management
• Exceptional ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, build strong relationships, and collaborate effectively across different teams and functions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of making sound, data-driven decisions under pressure
• Deep understanding of the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and strategy to development, launch, and ongoing optimization
• Strong experience in AI / ML product development, principles, applications, and their potential to enhance the R&D process
• Extensive experience with Agile development methodologies and their practical application
• Ability to conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessments to identify product opportunities
• Proven ability to define and execute product strategies and roadmaps that align with business objectives and deliver measurable results
• Experience creating and presenting compelling business cases for new product initiatives
• Familiarity with the R&D process, ideally within a similar industry or domain
• Experience fostering a strong sense of community and collaboration across teams
• Experience developing and implementing standards, processes, and guidelines to improve efficiency and quality
• A genuine passion for innovation, technology, and driving positive change
• Excellent written and verbal English and French communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
