Windows PCs powered by Snapdragon X Elite are revolutionizing the PC industry by leading the technology transformation for AI, graphics, multimedia, connectivity, power, and performance. The Senior Field Application Engineer, Commercial Channel (France) will have a pre-sales focus and will work with channel partners and their respective technical sales / delivery teams to drive adoption of the Windows on Snapdragon Compute platform across the B2B market. He / She will partner with OEM and Channel sales teams as well as Microsoft Modern Work Specialists, on strategic and regionally appropriate engagements. This individual will help connect IT to ISVs and developers to overcome line-of-business obstacles. In addition, he / she will be the voice of the customer back to Qualcomm product, engineering and marketing teams on feature enhancements.

In this position you will be responsible for :

  • Assisting with the Execution of Qualcomm's Worldwide Commercial Channel Go-To-Market strategy across France
  • Supporting the team Commercial Channel Sales team through deep technical engagement with reseller & customer implementers and assisting with device evaluations, pilots and proof-of-concepts
  • Assisting with the technical sales enablement commercial channel sales teams.
  • Evangelizing solutions to commercial channel partners that leverage Qualcomm technologies inclusive of Windows on Snapdragon, Industrial IOT, Small Cell Technology, and Extended Reality
  • Reporting Windows on Snapdragon related issues and bugs to Qualcomm Customer Engineering that you and / or your enterprise customers identify

The Senior Field Application Engineer, Commercial Channel (France) will have had extensive experience in supporting the sales and implementation of technology solutions through B2B resellers & distributors. He / she will have managed to sales targets and goals. The understanding of technically complex products and experience on how to position these to a broad audience are critical.

Travel expectations will be approximately 30-40%, and it is preferred that the individual reside within close proximity to the largest resellers & distributors in France.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, technology or related discipline
  • 5+ years in technical sales, technical product marketing, or product management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical sales management expertise, the ability to manage change and the desire to operate effectively across organizations and customers
  • Experience building complex solutions and driving new device adoption with resellers & distributors.
  • Experience in support of launching new technologies / products
  • Ability to communicate, educate and evangelize both internally & externally
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative problem solving with strong analytical skills

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  • 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
