About BYD France

BYD France is the French National Sales Company of BYD Europe and BYD Company Ltd, a China-based company and a leading global supplier of green energy technologies. BYD France offers a range of electric vehicles, including all-electric cars, buses, and forklifts. BYD is expanding its operations in France to support a growing portfolio of electric vehicle projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Actively engage in product localization projects on the French market. This involves helping to identify market requirements and uncover consumer insights to develop products that meet the needs of our target audience.
2. Responsible for product requests from various stakeholders, including user groups, dealers, and local authorities or associations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Sales, Business Planning, and Marketing to convert these requests into product implementations aligned with our strategy.
3. Actively participate in local product campaigns, such as test drive events and engaging potential users, to refine our product propositions and raise awareness among potential customers.
4. Work with European and France NSC teams to provide local market analysis, consumer insights, and competitor benchmarking to develop effective marketing strategies.
5. Support other local activities, such as compliance testing and product training, during the pre-launch and launch phases of new passenger car models in Europe, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and trade requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry (OEM experience is a plus)
• Strong passion for products, curiosity for innovation, and a customer-oriented mindset
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English and French (spoken and written); Chinese is a plus
