Une entreprise leader dans les systèmes de sécurité automobile recherche un Product Engineer Leader pour son centre technique européen. Ce rôle implique la gestion du développement de produits innovants, la collaboration étroite avec diverses équipes et la responsabilité de l'interface technique avec les clients. Les candidats idéaux posséderont un diplôme en génie mécanique, une expérience en R&D et une maîtrise de l'anglais et du français.

Qualifications

• Diplôme d'ingénieur en Génie Mécanique avec sensibilisation à la mécatronique.
• Expérience professionnelle pertinente en environnement R&D.
• Connaissances en développement de produits et compréhension technique dans l'industrie automobile.

Responsabilités

• Assurer le développement de nouveaux produits tout en respectant les objectifs.
• Travailler au sein d'une équipe projet multidisciplinaire.
• Coordonner une équipe fonctionnelle de techniciens (concepteurs CAO).

We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts, airbags, and steering wheels, and you can be part of our team as Product Engineer Leader for its European Steering Wheel Technical Center located in Chiré en Montreuil near Poitiers (86 - France).

If you think you'll like to manage the following responsibilities at higher standards:

• Ensure the development of new products while respecting the Autoliv and customer targets (robustness, cost, delay…).
• Work within a multidisciplinary project team, responsible for developing and monitoring new products in compliance with specifications and in collaboration with all involved parties (suppliers, manufacturing, quality, etc.).
• Carry out R&D tasks to meet project milestones in compliance with our standards.
• Technical customer interface and responsible for ensuring the robustness of the product.
• Coordinate a functional team of technicians (CAD designers).

And if you have/are:

• Engineer’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with mechatronics and system engineering awareness.
• Fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
• Willing to travel in Europe, Tunisia, and Turkey.
• Relevant professional experience in R&D environment, with knowledge and experience in product development, technical understanding, and industry knowledge in the automotive industry.
• Good knowledge of problem-solving methods, dimension chains (ISO functional quotation), FMEA…
• Knowledge of technical drawing and CATIA V5 CAD tools.
