About the job offer:

We are seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our team in the Paris region. The role involves developing MINTH’s product portfolio for automotive manufacturer customers (OEM).

Role & Responsibilities:

As a Product Development Coordinator, you will be part of the international R&D team. You will serve as the primary technical contact for customers in Europe and act as the interface between customers and MINTH teams.

You will be responsible for managing the technical interface between MINTH and OEM customers, ensuring the successful development of the product portfolio by meeting customer needs.

Tasks include:

  • Managing and ensuring technical content during acquisition phases (RFQ/RFI).
  • Providing technical support to the project team during development to meet QCD objectives.
  • Participating in project monitoring during production, including technical support, productivity, and optimization.
  • Contributing to standardization and implementation of product strategy, defining design standards, deploying best practices, and improving competitiveness.
  • Organizing exhibitions of technical solutions and participating in innovation activities with OEM customers.
  • Analyzing customer needs, conducting technological and competitive watch.
  • Resolving unforeseen and complex product issues.

Required profile:

  • Master's degree or higher (engineering school: automotive, mechanics/materials, industrial engineering, or similar).
  • At least 3 years of experience in automotive body and structural product development, including 1 year in a similar role at a Tier 1 supplier or OEM within a multicultural environment.
  • Good knowledge of the automotive sector: market, manufacturers, products, processes, project management, quality, and supply chain; familiarity with French automakers and industrial footprint.
  • Experience with BiW (Body-in-White) and chassis parts, understanding of production and material transformation technologies (aluminum, steel, plastic, etc.).
  • Fluent in French and English; additional languages (Chinese, Spanish, Italian, German) are a plus.
  • Proficiency with design and office automation tools (Catia, Microsoft Office, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable with international stakeholders, recognized for anticipation, rigor, and team spirit.
