About the job offer :

We are looking for a product development engineer to join our team in the Paris region to ensure the development of MINTH’s product portfolio for our automotive manufacturer customers (OEM).

Role & Responsibilities :

As a Product Development Coordinator, you are part of the international R&D team. You are the preferred technical contact for customers in Europe and the main interface between customers and MINTH teams.

You are responsible for managing the technical interface between MINTH and customers (OEM), and you take all necessary measures to successfully develop the MINTH product portfolio by meeting customer needs (OEM).

Tasks :

1. Manage and ensure the technical content during the acquisition phase (RFQ / RFI).
2. Provide technical support to the project team during the development phase, in order to meet QCD objectives.
3. Participate in project monitoring during the production phase: technical support, productivity, optimization and capitalization.
4. Participate in the standardization and implementation of our product strategy: define design standards, deploy best practices, improve competitiveness, define and apply product strategy.
5. Participate in innovation and organize exhibitions of technical solutions in connection with customers (OEM).
6. Participate in prospecting, analysis and identification of customer needs, technological and competitive watch.
7. Participate in the resolution of unforeseen and/or complex product problems.

Required profile :

You hold a Bac+5 or more (engineering school: automotive, mechanics/materials, industrial engineering and technological sciences or similar).

You have 3 years of experience in the development of automotive body and structural products, including at least 1 year in a similar position with a Tier 1 equipment supplier (Tier 1) or a manufacturer (OEM) in a multicultural environment.

You have good general knowledge of the automotive sector: automotive market, manufacturers & equipment manufacturers, products and processes, project, quality, supply chain, etc. You have a good understanding and experience with French localized automakers and industrial footprint.

You have experience in BiW (Body-in-White) and chassis parts. You are conscious of processes and technologies for the production and transformation of different materials (aluminum, steel, plastic, etc.).

You are fluent in French and English; a third language (Chinese, Spanish, Italian, German) will be a plus.

You master design and office automation tools (Catia, Pack Office, etc.).

You are a good communicator; you are comfortable with various interlocutors in an international environment. You are recognized for your ability to anticipate, as well as your rigor and team spirit.
