Job Description:

DSJ Global are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Transformation Manager on a permanent basis for a prestigious financial services provider based in Paris. This role will report directly to the CPO and play a pivotal role in leading an OPEX spend optimization project across multiple countries and business units.

This renowned financial institution is part of a major global group and is recognized for its innovation, stability, and excellence in delivering a wide range of financial services. The role will focus on mapping and optimizing indirect spend categories-including Professional Services, Marketing, Facilities, IT, HR, Travel, and Office Supplies-while aligning with senior stakeholders to drive cost synergies and secure more favourable contracts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement transformation, ideally with experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries. Candidates from top-tier consultancies or with a proven track record of leading similar cross-border projects are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-impact OPEX optimization project, working closely with the CPO to identify cost-saving opportunities across indirect spend categories.
  • Map and analyse indirect procurement categories across multiple geographies and business units, including Professional Services, Marketing, Facilities, IT, HR, Travel, and Office Supplies.
  • Engage and align with senior stakeholders across countries and departments to ensure buy-in and successful implementation of procurement strategies.
  • Drive supplier rationalization initiatives and proactively manage contract renewal planning to maximize value and mitigate risk.
  • Coordinate procurement efforts across legal entities and geographies, ensuring consistency, compliance, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Lead multi-stakeholder projects involving departments such as Legal, Compliance, IT, and Finance, balancing competing priorities and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Support procurement transformation initiatives, including process harmonization, digital tool implementation, and change management across the G5 countries.
  • Monitor and report on project outcomes, ensuring measurable cost savings and operational improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in procurement transformation, category management, or strategic sourcing across indirect spend categories.
  • Strong track record of leading cost-reduction initiatives across multiple business units or countries.
  • Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align senior leaders across functions and geographies.
  • Expertise in supplier negotiations, contract lifecycle management, and procurement analytics.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, regulatory frameworks, and procurement governance.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Background in management consulting or experience leading procurement transformation projects is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with procurement tools, ERP systems, and digital sourcing platforms.
  • Knowledge of best practices in supplier rationalization, contract planning, and change management.
