Procurement Manager - Hauts-de-France - 12-Month Contract

Our client, a global (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing organization, is recruiting for a Procurement Manager to join their new expansion project. Based in a charming location in France, this is a contractual role focused on significantly increasing the site’s capacity for biologics manufacturing.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage tenders for direct procurement of equipment, including developing bidders list, receiving tenders, evaluating proposals, and managing technical evaluations of engineering consultants and general contractors through to selection.
  2. Negotiate contracts to procure equipment for construction projects, ensuring delivery lead times align with project schedules.
  3. Contribute to cost management and project budget control.
  4. Oversee expediting and delivery of directly procured equipment.
  5. Update and maintain the Total Cost of Ownership policy.
Requirements:
  1. Degree or equivalent qualification with up to 10+ years of experience in procurement, contracts, and supply chain management.
  2. Experience in project procurement.
