ABB Corporate Procurement is seeking a Procurement Category Specialist for Professional Services, HR Services, and Marketing to lead strategic sourcing across Europe in a remote/hybrid setup. You will develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, evaluate bids, and drive cost-out initiatives while ensuring compliance and value.

The role requires about 5 years in indirect procurement, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in procurement, indirect services (HR, Consulting, Legal, Marketing) or equivalent.
• Strong negotiation skills and analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Comfortable with legal/contract terms and language.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Lead implementation of procurement strategy in alignment with category teams and stakeholders.
• Perform purchasing activities based on needs, specs, price, and contracts.
• Manage supplier portfolio and monitor performance for quality and compliance.
• Provide market insights, evaluate bids, and negotiate agreements with key suppliers.
• Ensure sourcing events use appropriate eSourcing tools and maintain data integrity.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers to support business needs and competitiveness.
• Lead cost-out programs and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate procurement orders and maintain documentation in relevant systems.
