PALTRON GmbH is seeking an Electronics Engineer for its Wittenheim, France location to lead electronics projects across production, field problems, and R&D. You will coordinate suppliers for ramp-ups and cost-saving initiatives while collaborating with Purchasing on supplier selection, and you will read and evaluate circuit diagrams with precision.

• Fluent in German and English; French knowledge is a plus but not required.

Together with our partner, a global market and technology leader in thermal food preparation, we are looking for an Electronics Engineer (m/f/d) in Wittenheim, France. The location is just 20 minutes from the German border.

Your Role:

• You will lead technical electronics projects across series production, field problems, and ongoing research and development initiatives
• You will work directly with suppliers, coordinating their activities for series ramp-ups, cost-saving projects, and the resolution of field issues. You will also collaborate closely with the purchasing department during supplier selection.
• You will read, understand, and expertly evaluate electronic circuit diagrams.
• You will plan and conduct functional and reliability tests for electronic systems and coordinate laboratory testing and prototyping.
• You will define specifications for electronic components, sensors (e.g., for pressure and temperature), and modules.

Your Profile:

• You hold a degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field, and bring at least 4 years of professional experience in electronics development.
• You possess a broad and in-depth understanding of electronics that goes well beyond basic microcontrollers, ideally including how various complex components and sensor technologies interact.
• You have proven experience in project-oriented work - a track record of successfully managing and coordinating suppliers is a plus.
• You speak fluent German and English. Knowledge of French is highly welcome and a great advantage, but not strictly necessary.
