We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer specializing in Naphtha Reforming to join a dynamic downstream team focused on large-scale energy operations. This key technical role involves developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting advanced reforming processes, including catalytic, semi-regenerative, and continuous catalyst regeneration (CCR) technologies.

Responsibilities :

1. Design, review, and optimize process systems and operating parameters for naphtha reforming units.
2. Evaluate reforming catalysts and cutting-edge technologies to improve process efficiency, yield, and product quality.
3. Provide technical support to refining operations, resolving complex issues, and enhancing performance.
4. Collaborate with licensors and vendors to implement new reforming technologies.
5. Conduct process simulations using tools like HYSYS for modeling, enhancement, and troubleshooting.
6. Publish and present technical papers on reforming best practices and innovations.
7. Mentor junior engineers and technicians to develop internal technical capabilities.

Qualifications :

1. Degree in Chemical Engineering (advanced degree preferred but not required).
2. 20+ years of experience in refinery or petrochemical operations, with at least 5 years in CCR technologies.
3. Deep knowledge of naphtha reforming and experience working with licensors such as UOP or Axens.
4. Proven track record of contributions to reforming technologies, including patents or intellectual property.
5. Proficiency in process simulation software, especially HYSYS.
6. Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving skills to handle complex technical challenges.
