Danone's Medical & Nutritional Science group in Gif-sur-Yvette is seeking a Molecular Microbiologist & Systems Biology Scientist to join the Biotics Team. You will characterize microbial strains using omics and systems biology approaches to drive innovation in dairy, plant-based products, and specialized nutrition.

Based in Danone's R&I Center, you will propose novel selection and fermentation strategies, collaborating with external experts and internal teams to unlock value across brands.

Qualifications

• PhD in Microbiology or closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of microbial physiology and food fermentation.
• Minimum of 5 years in a research laboratory.

Responsabilités

• Lead research projects identifying and characterizing probiotic strains.
• Design experiments and use omics data with bioinformatics tools.
• Provide insights on fermentation processes and bioactive compounds.
• Strengthen Danone's credibility through collaborations and communications.
• Maintain relationships with external experts and partners.
• Manage collaborations including contracts and scientific aspects.
• Translate findings into actionable knowledge for Danone brands.
