We are seeking a Principal Process Engineer, reporting to the Head of Process and HSE Design, to join our Engineering team in Belgium & France.

About the role:

The role involves delivering high-quality Process and HSE engineering design and support for proposals, studies, project execution, and technology development, focusing on green hydrogen and Power-to-X technologies, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and customer satisfaction.

Start Date: June 2025

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support and Project Execution: Provide technical advice, supervise process design during project phases, and ensure continuous improvement.
2. Sales and Product Development: Support sales strategies by developing innovative, customer-aligned solutions.
3. Process and Safety Engineering: Optimize engineering solutions, develop process deliverables, coordinate safety and risk assessments, and ensure quality and compliance.
4. Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Analyze technical specifications, participate in design reviews, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Quality Assurance and Approvals: Approve process deliverables, procedures, and manuals.
6. Training and Development: Mentor engineers, contribute to best practices, and promote continuous learning.
7. Knowledge Management and Innovation: Document lessons learned, contribute to knowledge databases, and stay updated on technological developments.
8. Industry Representation: Promote the company's technological image through liaising, publishing, and industry discussions.

About you:

• Master's degree in chemical engineering
• Minimum 8 years of experience in process engineering, FEED/EPC projects
• Fluent in English
• Strong project management and team supervision skills
• Knowledge of risk analysis (Hazop/LOPA)
• Willingness for international travel and temporary abroad missions
• Adaptable and agile mindset
