Job summary

IFS is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to build shared authentication and authorisation capabilities across our AI-native enterprise software platform. You will be a hands-on engineer who codes, automates by default, and delivers reliable, repeatable platform capabilities for engineering teams.

Your background spans platform engineering, infrastructure, SRE or systems integration, with a focus on automation, API design and production ownership.

Qualifications

• Must have substantial hands-on experience building and operating platforms or shared infrastructure supporting software teams.
• Strong coding and scripting skills applied to infrastructure, automation, deployment tooling or integrations.
• Experience automating provisioning, configuration, deployment and operational tasks via version-controlled, repeatable workflows.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and containers in software delivery environments.
• Experience with public cloud, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and GitOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and own platform services, APIs and automation in production.
• Establish patterns and self-service workflows for product engineering teams.
• Lead automation efforts for provisioning, configuration, deployment and recovery.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enable secure authentication and authorisation across platforms.
• Contribute to Go-based tooling and services and promote reliability and scalability.
