- Structural seismic interpretation and mapping with focus on the geological and engineering objectives
- Integration of information of different imaging approaches
- Apply seismostratigraphic principles or seismic texture recognition in support for lithological and stratigraphic predictions
- Supervise Quantitative interpretation, Poststack and prestack inversion for rock properties, seismic well ties
- Integration of principles of AVO/AVA/AVAZ/VVAZ into the interpretation and resulted geological models
- Seismic processing QC/QA with respect to the geological and technical targets and concepts
- Time to depth conversion and application of velocity models as determined from VSP, sonic integration and geological data and input to PreSDM velocity model building

- Support for planning exploration targets and drilling.
Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in Geophysics, Geology or a related discipline
- Minimum 15 years of experience in energy sector
Required Skills
- Passionate and pro-active approach for geology and geophysics, with strong teamwork skills
- Strong practical knowledge of specific software:
- AspenTech (former Paradigm, former Emerson)
- Strong knowledge of geological concepts, lithology and rock properties in relation to structural deformation, or in relation to reservoir/seal pairs, capable to challenge geological well correlations
