Overview

TRC is seeking a Market Director to oversee our southeast region, requiring a robust background in business development, technical expertise, and financial acumen. The ideal candidate will have a well-established reputation for nurturing and maintaining key client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Lead sales efforts targeting over $1.5M in annual net revenue from environmental compliance, engineering, and remediation services.
  • Operate within an 80% Seller and 20% Doer business model.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, delivering high-quality services in the environmental sector.
  • Enhance client relationships, securing new and follow-on work, broadening TRC's service offerings, and reinforcing TRC's value propositions.
  • Collaborate with project managers on strategic pursuits, including proposal development and client meetings.
  • Engage in strategic growth initiatives to expand TRC's client base and service reach across the Southeast.
  • Review RFQs and assist in proposal preparation.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record in client development in environmental consulting, engineering, or environmental construction management.
  • A strong network of client contacts in the Southeast market, with exceptional business development and project management skills.
  • Significant experience collaborating with manufacturing and industrial clients.
  • A history of success in selling and delivering environmental compliance and/or investigation and remediation services.
  • Adept at fostering rapport and nurturing positive relationships with clients and team members.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field, with at least twenty (20) years of experience.
  • Experience in proposal preparation and project management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

The salary range for this role is USD $148,131.00 - USD $181,049.00 per year, depending on experience, education, skills, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
