Workday in Europe is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead the delivery of customer projects from post-sale through to successful implementation. You will serve as the bridge between our technology and our customers’ success, managing a portfolio of complex, global deployments.

This high-velocity role requires seasoned PM skills, the ability to influence across stakeholders, and a readiness to travel for client engagements while embracing Workday’s flexible, hybrid work approach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management with HCM, talent or recruiting implementations in diverse settings.
• 5+ years of experience implementing Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft or similar applications.
• Available to travel up to 5% for client engagements
• Fluent communication in English and German or French, depending on location

About The Role

As an Engagement Manager you are responsible for leading the delivery of customer projects, from post-sale through to a successful implementation. In this role, you will serve as the critical bridge between our technology and our customers' success.

This is a high-velocity role where you will manage a portfolio of complex, simultaneous projects. You won't just follow a manual; you will own the delivery strategy, adapt methodologies to meet unique client needs, and facilitate complex, global deployments. We are looking for a seasoned professional who can handle the pressure of high-stakes, strategic transformations and has the maturity to lead by influence across diverse stakeholder groups. Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience of project management with HCM, talent or recruiting implementations within medium enterprise, large enterprise, higher education and/or state and local governments.
• 5+ years of experience implementing Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft or similar applications.
• Available to travel up to 5% for client engagements
• Fluent communication in English and German or French (as relevant to location).

Other Qualifications

• Experience working with third party vendors and integration partners
• Experience working on implementation projects for companies with 10,000+ employees
• Excellent communication skills across multiple channels with the ability to adjust messaging to their audience
• Experience managing a formal project plan using project plan software (MS Project, Smartsheet, Wrike, Financial Force, etc.)
• Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to lead by influence

Listed below is the base salary range applicable to this position. Workday pay ranges (and the precise pay offered to the successful candidate) are based on a number of objective criteria such as relevant experience and skills, and educational qualifications, level of responsibility, demands of the role, work location and business need. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants awarded by Workday Inc. Primary Location Base Pay Range: €98,000 EUR - €147,000 EUR Germany

Additional Location Base Pay Range: €85,800 EUR - €128,600 EUR France
