The Group :

Our Custom Silicon & Consumer Solutions (CSS) team leads in sensing, signal processing, and power solutions, supporting growth in portable consumer devices and other markets.

The Business :

Our CSS business develops high-volume consumer silicon solutions, including power management integrated circuits (PMICs). We are expanding our team to support development of integrated power solutions and continue our growth trajectory.

The Position : We are seeking a PRINCIPAL DESIGNER, LAYOUT, to join our European CSS Layout Team. The ideal candidate is motivated, eager to learn, and capable of collaborating across multiple locations with a team of designers, verification engineers, and software developers working on state-of-the-art PMICs. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading chip layout activities, managing resources, scheduling, and interfacing with customers and cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Executing top-level integration and verification of mixed-signal and PMIC chips, managing digital and analog IP integration.
  • Developing IP layouts, collaborating with design teams, and preparing customer-facing documentation.
  • Supporting team development, mentorship, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Using tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Mentor Graphics Calibre, and VXL, and applying best practices in layout design, LVS, DRC, and DFM.

Key Qualifications :

  • BSc or higher in Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • 15+ years of IC layout experience.
  • Scripting skills in PERL, SKILL, or similar are advantageous.
  • Strong teamwork skills in multicultural, multi-site environments.
