**What are we looking for?** We are seeking a professional to work closely with one of our main clients in the financial sector.

Main tasks and responsibilities include:

1. Working with stakeholders within business and technology to understand needs and design optimal solutions, fostering a data-driven culture.
2. Leading strategic prototyping workshops to clarify objectives and collaborating across Global Technology Shared Services to implement solutions.
3. Understanding approaches for building self-service BI versus corporate BI solutions, including data sources and ETL methods.
4. Driving reporting efficiencies by standardizing practices, creating sharing platforms, and providing training for Power BI report designers, data modellers, and consumers.
5. Acting as a Power BI product evangelist to promote awareness, stay updated on technology trends, and evaluate use cases and alternatives.
6. Contributing to the Power Platform center of excellence to establish governance structures.
7. Assessing adoption and satisfaction, collaborating with product teams and UX specialists, and being a proactive change ambassador.

**What do we expect from you?** Highly skilled in data analysis, data modelling, and ETL processes, with over 10 years of experience as a Data Engineer Expert, including:

• Performance tuning and handling large data volumes.
• Understanding of enterprise big data architectures.
• Extensive experience in developing reporting and analytics solutions, including Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, SSAS, Azure Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory, Power Platform solutions, and Power BI.
• Knowledge of the full Software Development Lifecycle, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio (SSDT), and security models within data estates.
• Proficiency in English at a C1 level for international collaboration.

Nice to have: Experience in building reporting governance frameworks, SAFe practices, consuming data via APIs, Snowflake, various databases and file formats, and understanding Data Quality approaches.
