Job summary

Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse, France is seeking a Primary Flight Control System Designer to join the Flight Control & Guidance Systems team. You will help develop and design the Primary Flight Control computers from early specification through validation on the IFCS project, based in Toulouse.

The role requires experience in Flight Control System or System Design, plus knowledge of SCADE, systems engineering, and strong communication skills in French and English.

Qualifications

• First experience in Flight Control System and/or System Design required.
• System engineering methods and avionics knowledge are essential.
• Experience with aircraft flight control systems and equipment is advantageous.
• French (intermediate) and English (negotiation) language skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in defining primary flight computers specifications using formal tools (e.g., SCADE).
• Contribute to integration of flight control laws in PFCS computers and interfaces.
• Help define tools and methods for specification of PFCS computers and rules.
• Write test requirements (simulation, lab, or flight) and track progress.
• Contribute to safety analyses and provide technical evidence for certification.
