Job summary

Everpure, Inc. in France is seeking a Systems (Presales) Engineer to join our Commercial district, covering the PACA region from Marseille or Aix-en-Provence. This field presales role requires 5+ years of hands-on SE experience and a passion for owning a territory.

You will partner with Account Executives across a mixed portfolio, delivering demos and proofs of concept, and driving technical closure for regional customers in health, social services, heavy industry, and mid-sized firms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a field presales / Systems Engineer / Solutions Engineer role.
• Solid general infrastructure culture: compute, virtualization, networking, data protection.
• Experience selling services, subscription or consumption models.
• A senior, autonomous way of working: you take initiative, drive activity in large accounts, and manage your own agenda.
• Curiosity: you learn new technology quickly and like finding new use cases for it.
• Based in or near Marseille / Aix‑en‑Provence, with a driving licence.
• Fluent French and professional English.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship across your territory: discovery, architecture, demos, proofs of concept and technical closure, on Everpure's Enterprise Data Cloud platform.
• Take the initiative in large accounts: build activity, find new use cases, and create opportunities rather than wait for them.
• Sell outcomes, not boxes: position services and consumption models credibly with IT and finance stakeholders.
• Work day to day with your Account Executives and with channel partners in the region.
• Own technical responses to RFPs and RFIs.
• Contribute to a national SE team that shares knowledge and wins across districts.

THE ROLE

Everpure, Inc. (formerly Pure Storage) is adding a Systems (Presales) Engineer to our Commercial district in France, covering the PACA region from Marseille or Aix‑en‑Provence.

This is a field presales role for someone with 5+ years of hands‑on SE experience who enjoys owning a territory. You will partner with several Account Executives across a mixed portfolio: large regional accounts where you drive the technical agenda, public‑sector organizations in health, social services and heavy industry, and a long tail of mid‑sized companies where speed and pragmatism win.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Own the technical relationship across your territory: discovery, architecture, demos, proofs of concept and technical closure, on Everpure's Enterprise Data Cloud platform.
• Take the initiative in large accounts: build activity, find new use cases, and create opportunities rather than wait for them.
• Sell outcomes, not boxes: position services and consumption models (Evergreen//One, storage-as-a-service) credibly with IT and finance stakeholders.
• Work day to day with your Account Executives and with channel partners in the region.
• Own technical responses to RFPs and RFIs.
• Contribute to a national SE team that shares knowledge and wins across districts.

WHAT YOU BRING – REQUIRED

• 5+ years in a field presales / Systems Engineer / Solutions Engineer role, ideally with a territory or multi‑account scope.
• Solid general infrastructure culture: compute, virtualisation, networking, data protection, and how they fit together in real customer environments.
• Experience selling services, subscription or consumption models: you can explain the commercial side as well as the technical one.
• A senior, autonomous way of working: you take initiative, drive activity in large accounts, and manage your own agenda.
• Curiosity: you learn new technology quickly and like finding new use cases for it.
• Based in or near Marseille / Aix‑en‑Provence, with a driving licence.
• Fluent French and professional English.

NICE TO HAVE

• Enterprise storage experience (SAN, NAS, object, data protection). Valuable, not required: a dedicated onboarding quarter covers it.
• Background at an infrastructure, data‑protection or open‑source vendor, or at a services company.
• Existing relationships with IT teams in the PACA region.

LOCATION & TRAVEL

• Home-based in the Marseille / Aix‑en‑Provence area.
• Expect to be with customers around half your time or more. Travel is regional, so you are home in the evening, with occasional trips to Paris for team meetings.
