Job summary

BIRKENSTOCK in Paris is seeking a store associate to deliver a warm, knowledgeable customer experience and to act as a brand ambassador. You will assist customers, demonstrate product values, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere in the shop.

You will handle the cash register, process exchanges and refunds, keep the store layout inviting, and collaborate with colleagues to restock and present products according to brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Initial professional experience in high-quality (shoe) retail.
• You love being in contact with people, eager to learn and enjoy being a competent contact person for our customers.
• You inspire not only your colleagues, but also our customers with your positive personality.
• Very good French and English skills; other languages are an advantage.
• Enthusiastic about our products and able to identify with the Birkenstock brand and contribute together.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an all-round successful customer experience with comprehensive and personal service.
• Convey the value and quality of our products as a brand ambassador.
• Use the cash register system and process daily closings, exchanges or refunds precisely.
• Maintain composure in hectic situations and keep a positive mood.
• Present products invitingly according to guidelines.
• Carry out general storage tasks and replenish goods on the shop floor with colleagues.
