Infinite Orbits is seeking an experienced Optical AIT Engineer to support integration and validation of an optical payload in Toulouse. The role emphasizes optical alignment, camera‑level integration, and end‑to‑end optical performance verification at subsystem and satellite level.

You will work in a cleanroom environment (ISO 5–8) and collaborate with mechanical, thermal, and electronics teams to ensure system‑level consistency.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Optical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of optical AIT experience, preferably in space or high‑performance imaging systems.
• Strong understanding of imaging systems and PSF/MTF concepts.
• Experience with optical test equipment (collimators, interferometers, MTF benches).
• ISO 5–8 cleanroom operations familiarity.

Responsabilités

• Optical Integration & Alignment of optical assemblies, including lens-to-detector.
• Define and execute alignment procedures (focus, tilt, centering, boresight).
• Use optical metrology tools (collimators, interferometers, MTF benches).
• Supervise camera integration from an optical standpoint and interface with mechanical, thermal, and electronics teams.
• Contribute to integration flow definition and optimization and support environmental test campaigns.
