Job summary

CNRS's CRISMAT/CIMAP in Caen invites applications for a Post-Doctoral position within the SVO2Mat project. You will develop dc sputtering targets for SrVO3, perform solid-state synthesis and sintering, and test sputtering of thin films with structural and functional characterization.

You will contribute to project monitoring, communicate results, and liaise with industrial partners, with short-term travels in France or abroad.

Qualifications

• Strong background in synthesis of perovskite oxides in bulk and/or thin film form.
• Independent working attitude.
• Skills in scientific communication and collaborative working.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop dc sputtering targets for SrVO3.
• Perform solid-state synthesis and sintering of SrVO3.
• Test dc sputtering of thin films and characterize films structurally and functionally.
• Monitor project progress, communicate results, and liaise with industrial partners.
