Type de structure : The Inflammation Research Center brings together about 250 researchers, lecturer-researchers, hospital-university staff, technical agents (ITA), doctoral students, post-docs and trainees with the objective of establishing in France a Center of Excellence which links the basic research with translational and clinical research in inflammatory diseases.
The objectives of the IRC are:
-to understand fundamentally the basics of inflammatory processes and development fibrosis
-to identify new pathophysiological mechanisms of inflammatory diseases
-identify biomarkers associated with diseases and develop new imaging tools
-to create new preclinical animal models allowing proof of concept (POC) for the study of inflammatory diseases
-the search for new therapeutic approaches.
Contexte et mission :
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will:
- Conduct research projects focused on MR imaging for treatment response prediction and stratification of pancreatic cancer
- Develop and validate novel concepts in time-resolved diffusion imaging involving the analysis of diffusion coefficients at different spatial scales and considering kurtosis
- Conduct research projects based on MR elastography techniques (conventional and under pseudo static external load) involving multiple acoustic sources and frequencies
- Have access to preclinical models and clinical workflows for pancreatic cancer
- Train and optimize deep learning models for tumor segmentation and physics-informed tasks
- Publish your findings in peer-reviewed journals and in conferences
Lieu : Center for Research on Inflammation, Inserm UMR 1149
Diplômes requis : PhD in biomedical engineering, physics, computer science, medical degree
Compétences requises : Proficiency in programming languages and computing environments such as Matlab, Python or C/C++ ; Some experience with MRI acquisition protocol development, in preclinical or clinical settings; Basic knowledge in radiology and physiopathology of pancreatic cancer
