Institut Curie Research Center is a major player in cancer research and treatment. It comprises a hospital group and a research center with over 1000 employees, aiming to advance basic research and translate knowledge into improved diagnosis, prognosis, and therapies for cancer, bridging basic research and innovation for patient benefit.
We seek motivated postdoctoral fellows to join our "Replication Program and Genome Instability" team at Institut Curie, Paris. The team utilizes advanced high-throughput genomic techniques and data analysis to study DNA replication dynamics and genome stability in normal and cancer cells at both population and single-cell levels.
DNA replication is essential for cell division, involving the activation of thousands of origins to duplicate the human genome. Its regulation is crucial during development and differentiation, with misregulation linked to diseases like cancer. Our project aims to develop innovative single-molecule/cell methodologies combining imaging, sequencing, modeling, and bioinformatics to study replication in mammalian cells and model organisms, elucidating its role in genome instability and disease.
