The Institut de Biologie Structurale (IBS, UMR 5075) in Grenoble, France, invites applications for an 18-month post-doctoral project in structural biology/astrobiology. The researcher will study extremophilic adaptation at the proteome level and explore traces of extraterrestrial life in Martian brines, using nano-DSF, nano-photometry, neutron diffusion, MS/MS proteomics, and AlphaFold2 predictions.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in structural biology/biophysics or protein
Qualifications
- PhD in structural biology/biophysics or protein biochemistry required.
- Experience in proteomic analysis and bioinformatics desirable.
- Strong motivation and teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment.
Responsabilités
- Perform experiments to study extremophilic adaptation at the proteome level (nano-DSF, nano-photometry, neutron diffusion).
- Analyze data and integrate structure predictions (AlphaFold2) with MS/MS proteomics results.
- Contribute to dissemination of results through publications and collaborations.
