Biopractify invites applications for a 24-month Postdoctoral Researcher position at CY Cergy Paris Université to engineer bacteriophages against biofilm-associated Staphylococcus aureus infections. The role focuses on phage genome editing and antibiofilm studies within the PHAGOBOOST project.

You will collaborate internationally, publish results, and contribute to translational anti-infective research. A Ph.D. and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in microbiology, molecular microbiology, bioengineering, synthetic biology, or related discipline.
• Strong research record with peer‐reviewed publications.
• Excellent experimental skills in microbiology and molecular biology.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently within an international collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Develop genetic engineering strategies for bacteriophages while preserving phage fitness and stability.
• Phage genome editing using advanced genetic engineering tools.
• Evaluate antibiofilm properties of engineered phages using relevant models.
• Disseminate research findings through publications and project reports.
