Université de Limoges, XLIM UMR CNRS 7252, invites applications for a Postdoctoral researcher in physics, optics and electronics. The role focuses on implementing and validating an OPV-based energy harvesting and optical data reception testbed using software-defined radios and front-end integration for a realistic indoor IoT demonstrator.

The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team, contribute to experimental measurements, and communicate results in English.

Qualifications

PhD or equivalent in information science and engineering.
Experience programming digital and software defined radio devices and performing experimental measurements.
Good teamwork abilities, organization, and collaborative work style.
Good English communication skills.

Responsabilités

Implement the experimental testbed at XLIM to validate OPV devices and ensure reproducible measurements.
Work with USRP platforms to support modulation and coding evaluations for energy harvesting and data transmission.
Develop lighter devices for integration on lower-cost boards to demonstrate a real-world system.
Integrate front-ends with compatible interfaces for optical transmission and OPV reception as part of the project.
