Sanofi in Vitry-sur-Seine seeks a postdoctoral fellow in Structural Biology / NMR spectroscopy to study how PTMs in antibody CDRs impact antigen binding and stability. You will employ 2D/3D-NMR, cryo-EM, crystallography, and HDX-MS alongside computational modelling to map PTM effects on Fab structure and recognition.

The role supports molecule optimization and manufacturing process development, collaborating across teams to publish findings and advance drug discovery.

Qualifications

• PhD in NMR spectroscopy, structural biology or biophysics.
• Experience with isotope labeling and methyl labeling.
• Proven ability to assign NMR spectra for high molecular weight proteins.

Responsabilités

• Produce and characterize samples with mass spectrometry, SEC, DSC and binding assays.
• Perform 2D-NMR analysis on modified and unmodified mAb/Fab samples to map chemical shift perturbations.
• Produce samples via cell-free expression.
• Structurally characterize Fab–antigen interaction by NMR, cryo-EM, crystallography and HDX-MS data.
• Design, produce and evaluate mutated Fab constructs to determine the role of residues neighboring PTMs.
• Present findings to cross-functional teams and contribute to scientific publications.
