CNRS is seeking a postdoctoral researcher for a project on heteroaggregation of microplastics with microorganisms in flows, at the PMMH laboratory in Paris. The role covers experimental design, data analysis, and dissemination of results through publications and conferences.

The project sits at the interface of fluid mechanics, soft matter physics, and environmental microbiology, with collaboration across French and Parisian research teams. English scientific writing is essential.

Qualificações

• PhD in microbiology or related field.
• Experience with biofilms and microplastics.
• Strong publication record in relevant areas.
• Fluency in English, excellent scientific writing.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and optimize experimental protocols for microorganism culture under microfluidic flow.
• Perform heteroaggregation experiments and monitor biofilm formation via microscopy.
• Analyze and quantify biofilm structure and growth from imaging data.
• Analyze gene expression via RT-qPCR under various culture conditions.
• Contribute to data analysis, manuscript writing, and conference presentations.
• Support supervision and participate in lab scientific activities.
