Development of an innovative microfluidic platform for characterizing complex suspensions using light absorption.
Assembly of a robotic arm mounted on a 3D-printed support for delivering solutions. Assembly of the microfluidic channels and the pressure controller. Installation of the optical detection modules. Calibration using controlled suspensions of increasing complexity. Signal analysis and statistical inference.
This project is part of the ERC PoC BIFFTANNEN program, which provides funding for it, and is a team effort.
Candidates should have expertise in applied mathematics and microfluidics, with knowledge of statistical physics and, if possible, machine learning. The ability to work in a team and a passion for innovation are required. Strong written and oral scientific communication skills in English are required.
