Develop, adapt and implement a set of methods and techniques for the analysis of sedimentary cores taken from the sewers of the city of Paris.
• Completion and enhancement of data produced as part of the ANR EGOUT project:
- Documentary research in Paris city departments
- Discussion of data output with issuing partners
- Data organization
- Data interpretation
- Writing of scientific articles
- Participation in conferences
• Support for the preparation of a participatory research project in the 20th arrondissement of Paris:
- Participation in co-creation meetings
- Support for acquisition and interpretation of results
The ANR EGOUT project (egout.cnrs.fr) is an interdisciplinary project that aims to lay the foundations for an observatory of Parisian practices, based on the monitoring of materials that pass through and accumulate in sewers. The project generates a wealth of geochemical data acquired on aqueous and sedimentary matrices.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with the following qualifications:
- Strong skills in sedimentology and geochemistry
- Knowledge of urban environments and wastewater networks
- Legal and ethical framework for geochemical analyses in urban environments
- Regulatory framework for urban sampling
- Health and safety regulations
- English language: B1 to B2 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
