The CNRS unit IDHE.S in Paris area seeks a First Stage Researcher (R1) to contribute to a project examining 15–20 hours of compulsory activities for RSA recipients. Based at the University of Paris Nanterre, you will join the research team and focus on RSA employment policies in the Savoie department, employing interviews, fieldwork, and data collection.

You will help map institutions, conduct expert interviews, and assist in creating analysis for the final report and publications, with a study

Qualifications

• Ability to carry out qualitative research in sociology of work and employment.
• Understanding of public employment service reforms is advantageous.
• Ability to develop data collection tools (questionnaires, interviews, etc.).
• Ability to work as part of a team and to report on one's work.
• Commitment to confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Map the ecosystem of public institutions, businesses and organisations responsible for these policies.
• Conduct interviews with representatives and professionals, with field observations where possible.
• Collect quantitative data on access to employment and integration pathways.
• Contribute to the analysis and drafting of the final research report.
• Contribute to drafting publications.
• Help organise a study day during 2027.
